I have the 14" autococker deadly wind with size matching bores and it has serve me quite well. Works best with harder paint.

it's a cocker threaded so anything will pretty much work.

Consider this, Jon: my son Dylan and I are new, too, and both of us have very nice 14" barrels, he the Freak system, mine a supposedly high quality .693 etek barrel. But we are currently shooting Stingers, and the accuracy sucks. We are on our last case, and there will be an upgrade to better paint for sure!

I figure if a person spends 10% more on paint and shoots 10% less because they are on target, the money spent is the same and you are having more fun! So yes, upgrade the barrel, but shoot good paint too!

And by the way yesterday Bushwacker said the "detents" inside the marker also affect the accuracy. The detents are what hold the ball in the barrel just before it is shot. You don't want them worn out.

one thing most people over look is how paint is stored. i have shot 1 year old stingers that i stored in my house at room temp and they worked great. yes you can get cheap bad paint but in most cases it's how it was stored. I for one like stinger because it can push through bush without breaking. on tournament days i use formula 13 because it is better and alot more consistent. when you store paint make sure 2 agitate it once a week so the pigment keeps mixed and not all of 2 one side.

Read these two quotes 100% agree with them. $200 barrel shooting $hit paint is worst than a $10 barrel using good paint. A Freak kit or any type of kit will help with air efficiency more than accuracy.

My money is to get a good SP, CP, Dye, etc 2-piece 0.691 for semi or 0.679 for pump. My Freak is meant to be used for my pumps to prevent ball roll out.

Accuracy is 90% player 10% barrel IMHO
